 The Thrivent Financial for Lutherans board of directors has named Brad Hewitt the organization's new president and chief executive officer. 

Alumni & Friends Invited to Free Lectures on Dead Sea Scrolls
Concordia University, St. Paul in conjunction with the exhibition of the Scrolls at the Science Museum of Minnesota, will be hosting four free lectures on the Dead Sea Scrolls.  The lectures will take place on selected Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Graebner Memorial Chapel on the campus of Concordia University, St. Paul.

CSP Professor on "Millionnaire"
CSP adjunct professor and St. Paul pastor Bob Benke recently was a contestant on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire,” hosted by Meredith Viera, which will air on May 24-25, 2010. Although the rules of the show prohibit Benke from sharing the results until the episodes air, he was able to mention the many ministry opportunities at Concordia.  Look for more details this spring.
