The Concordia University, St. Paul Alumni Association offers many volunteer opportunities that invite you to stay connected, engaged, and involved with Concordia today. By giving your time as a Concordia alumna/us, you make tremendous contributions to our beloved alma mater and to our fellow alumni. Some of these fun rewarding volunteer opportunities include:

The purpose of the Alumni Council is to sponsor and plan events and activities that encourage alumni interaction with Concordia University, St. Paul and each other by working in Action/Alumni Teams (A-teams) and in partnership with the office of Alumni Relations

Class/Cohort Reunion planning
Class and Cohort reunions can be planned for 5yr., 10 yr., 15yr., 20 yr., etc. graduation anniversaries. Alumni take the lead in planning the events. While Homecoming weekend is ideal for these gatherings, it may not work for all groups. Reunions can be planned in conjunction with Homecoming, graduation, or other campus or community events.
Cohort Engagement
Work with the Alumni Office to engage our cohort alumni to reconnect and stay connected with the University.
Congregational representative
Serve the University by sponsoring events in your home congregation that promote Concordia, St Paul.
Event Host
The University hosts several events throughout the academic year where we utilize alumni to serve as hosts.

Monthly spotlight of an alumna/us and their volunteer work both on
campus and in their community. Nominate yourself or someone else for
this spotlight.
Golden Reunion (Commencement Weekend, May)
The Golden Reunion focuses each year on the 50th anniversary of graduation from Concordia College. The reunion includes: A dinner/cruise, campus tours, chapel service, time for fellowship, and culminates with a processional during graduation. Volunteers are needed to call classmates, and plan the events.

MN State Fair
Concordia University sponsors a booth in the education building each year at the Minnesota State Fair. You would serve a representative at the booth answering questions about the University and talking with fellow alumni.
