What We Do
The office of church relations works to build and encourage
relationships between Concordia University, St. Paul and congregations. The office works closely with many departments on campus and communicates with churches about the happenings at Concordia through Concordia Sundays, presentations and events. Concordia is also represented at various LCMS events and other church-related gatherings as well as coordinating various events.
Who We Are
Amy Scholz, director of church relations, joined
the Concordia staff in July 2008. Prior to coming to Concordia, she was
the director of church relations and friends of Concordia at Concordia -
Wisconsin and has worked in Lutheran higher education for more than 15
years. Amy received her bachelor's degree from Concordia - Nebraska and
her master's degree in Student Personnel Administration from Concordia -
Wisconsin. In addition to her professional vocation, she keeps busy
with various volunteer and church activities. She is married to Rev.
Michael Scholz and they live in River Falls, Wis., where he serves as
pastor at Luther Memorial Lutheran church.
