Athletic Hall of Fame 2014 Inductees

Concordia announces the 2014 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees: Lisa (Harfield, '03) BorowitzRon Braatz (Acad. '60), and Dean Mills ('92).  These individuals represent an outstanding collection of men and women who have contributed to the athletic tradition at Concordia Academy, Concordia Junior College, Concordia College and Concordia University. They excelled in their athletic careers while a Comet or Golden Bear, their accomplishments are all remarkable and Concordia Athletics applauds them for their distinguished careers.

Lisa (Harfield, '03) Borowitz 
Women's Basketball
Women's Soccer

Lisa Borowitz was a three-sport All-NSIC First Team performer competing in the first years of Concordia’s Division II and NSIC era that started in 1999. Her status as a three-sport star as a student-athlete has earned her induction into the NSIC Hall of Fame in July when she’s inducted in St. Cloud, Minn. She’ll become the first Concordia member of the NSIC Hall of Fame. Read more...

Ronald Braatz (Acad. '60)

Ron Braatz was a three-sport athlete for the Comets, earning multiple letters in hockey, baseball and football. He was a two-time Most Valuable Player on the ice and also earned MVP honors on the diamond as a senior. He was a two-time captain and All-Conference hockey player and a senior baseball captain. Read more...

Dean Mills ('92)

Dean Mills was a two-sport star for the Comets as a three-time All-UMAC Honorable Mention football starter and two-time team MVP and captain of the baseball team where he was named an All-American in 1990. Read more...
