Dining Hall Becomes Student Life Center
The renovation of Concordia University, St. Paul's Dining Hall began Monday, May 13 and was complete on Friday, Aug. 23 to kick off Concordia's 120th academic year.
On Thursday, Oct. 10, donors, faculty, staff, students and community members were on hand to rededicate the space. The building is now the Winget Student Life Center, named after long-time Concordia supporters who were the project's lead donors.
The rededication ceremony was held in the adjoining Buenger Education Center and, after the ribbon cutting, attendees moved to the SLC for fellowship and food tasting.
Thank you to the donors, including The Opportunity Fund donors, who helped fund this renovation that has greatly enhanced the student experience and the whole Concordia community. The renovated space is expected to help our enrollment and retention--two of our four strategic priorities.
